This will be a fantastic opportunity to learn from one of Canada’s best. Ian has had great success as a horseman in both his riding and his coaching. He has been short listed on the Canadian Three Day Event Team since the 80’s. Ian rode on the 2004 Olympic Three Day Event Team in Athens and represented Canada at the 2006 WEG’s in Aachen Germany. He is currently short listed with his lovely horse Napalm for the 2010 WEG’s.

However, that is not all that Ian has achieved. He has coached the Ontario Young Rider Team for many years. He has also been the personal coach to many of the young riders who have made the Ontario Young Rider Team. Ian was the personal coach to 3 of the Silver medaling 2009 Junior Team members. Over the years Ian has coached many teams to success at NAYRC’s. Ian also sits on the Canadian Eventing Committee as the Coaching Chairman.

This clinic will be a great interlude to the Winter doldrums and provide each rider with ideas to work on throughout the rest of the winter.

Jane Savoie to present one-day seminar at Toronto CADORA in May 2010

Aurora, Ontario — January 18, 2010: Toronto CADORA is pleased to announce it will host a one-day seminar featuring popular U.S. dressage trainer, motivational speaker, clinician and Grand Prix competitor, Jane Savoie (www.janesavoie.com) on Saturday, May 22, 2010 in King City, ON.

During this seminar, which will feature both lectures and demonstrations, Jane Savoie will discuss not only training techniques and tips for improving competition scores, but also strategies to help riders cope with the sports psychology aspect of riding and competing.

“We’re thrilled to be able to bring Jane to the Toronto area,” notes Dorothy McDonall, Toronto CADORA President. “We’ve wanted to address the sport psychology aspect of the equestrian game for a while now, and this more than satisfies that goal.”

Tina Busse-Irwin has trained in Germany with Klaus Martin Rath and Holger Muenstermann, as well as Canadian Olympian Evi Strasser.
She has also ridden with Heike Kemmer and most recently with 6 time Olympian Robert Dover.
Tina and her long time mount, Amicelli have a long list of accomplishments at the Grand Prix level. They have been Short listed for the Canadian Team for 2008, 2009 and 2010. The pair won both the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle at Blainville CDI in 2008, as well as competing at the World Masters Dressage competition in Wellington Fl in 2009.
